Jonathan Kizazi
Jonathan Kizazi is a young Congolese man who was the first-born in his family of thirteen children. He fled from his country of origin in December of 2017 following threats from his father’s family to kill him and his siblings. He completed art in school for four years in Lubumbashi in the DRC. When he came to the Dzaleka refugee camp, he decided to attend several training sessions from different artists in the camp. He now does murals for a living. However, he has difficulty finding adequate materials to do his work and prices are very low on the camp market.
